About this recipe
These homemade sugar cookies are extra soft and buttery, designed to mimic the popular Lofthouse style snacks often found in grocery stores. The dough uses cake flour and sour cream to ensure a tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture that remains white and pale after baking.
Each cookie is finished with a light and fluffy homemade buttercream frosting. Topped with optional sprinkles, these treats are ready to serve once the frosting sets, making them a delightful homemade alternative to store-bought varieties.
