Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare

Preheat the oven according to the biscuit package directions, typically 375°F. Line a baking sheet.
  2. Form the Pies

Flatten each biscuit into a flat round circle. Place a generous spoonful of apple pie filling in the center of half the biscuits. Top each filled biscuit with another flattened biscuit.
  3. Seal and Cut

Crimp the edges tightly with a fork to seal the pies. Cut a tiny vent in the top of each pie.
  4. Bake and Serve

Bake for 14-17 minutes until golden brown and puffed. Let cool slightly before serving.

Tips

For smaller hand pies, you can fold single biscuits in half instead of using two biscuits per pie.

About this recipe

These mini pies offer a convenient way to enjoy sweet, apple-filled pastry without the labor of making dough from scratch. The combination of flaky biscuit layers and sweet apple filling results in a golden-brown treat that is easy to handle.

Perfect for after-school snacks or quick family desserts, these pies require minimal cleanup and attention. Serve them warm from the oven for the best texture, allowing the crispy exterior to contrast with the soft filling inside.
